Bike Park Closed for Season. Opens on July 8
Sugar Mountain is closed for the 2015 summer season due to construction but will return in May of 2016.

Sugar Mountain Resort has the cool breezes and fresh mountain air for an awesome biking adventure. They also utilize the ski lift in the summer to take you to the top of Sugar Mountain’s 5,300-foot summit, so don’t forget to bring your mountain bike for the ride down.

Sugar Mountain Resort’s National Expert Downhill Track starts at the summit and finishes at the base of Easy Street. This 1.2-mile expert trail consists of tight technical riding with multiple jump opportunities, creek crossings and a vertical drop of 1,200 feet. Follow trail signs through Donovan’s Dungeon, Lizards Lane and the Detour to experience the same downhill adventure as a USA Cycling National downhill race. Riders consider this mountain bike downhill course to be one of the most demanding and thrilling on the East Coast.

National Cross Country features six miles of intermediate trail, 0.6 miles of advanced trail and .6 miles of expert trail that starts at the base of Easy Street. Check out the trail details and more information about enjoying summer at Sugar Mountain Resort here.

Lift rides are available weekends ONLY.
Primary Trail Type: All-Mountain & Downhill
