Armstrong up to spiro was wet but wonderful. No harm done, only smiles created. Minor Water drainage issue, standing water on trail surface in spots.

In all the shady areas of this section of MM there is packed snow/ice and a lot of snow melt. There are long sections with shade. No ruts forming but you and your bike will get mud splattered. 10/10/2016

A tree or two is across the trail between Eagle and Silver Spur. I was barely able to ride under it (my pack may have touched it). It was right after a turn and I didn't have much warning about it.

Leaves are half gone with the recent snow and winds but trail is dry in the sun and tacky in the shade
