Microclimate achieved notoriety when it was featured in the World Enduro Series event in Whistler back in 2014, the trail, built through a beautiful mature forest, is steep, rough and awesome. The climb up is quite challenging on steep gravel access roads on Blackcomb mountain, in the summer heat it can be a killer. A variation or a great second lap (with slightly less climbing) is to ride Hey Bud, which has recently been re-worked and is arguably slightly easier than Microclimate if you follow the new routing.

Underwater would be the only way to make it more wet than now. As if anyone in the valley does not already know that the trails area ALL wet, you do now! reporter

Trail is running great. Some repairs (especially removed deep ruts in steep turns) made it even better ! High 5 to the builders. Lot of roots at the bottom section

About half way down the trail forks and if you go right it's the older more steep section. There's a Ling steep section to start and it flattens out for a bit and gets deep again. In that next steep part there are 2 large trees that have fallen across the trail. You can get past them but just know that they are there
