This is the new climbing trail so you can avoid the fire road as much as possible. It is well built with good drainage considerations, some cedar bridges, and is generously wide. It is relatively smooth but has a sensible amount of bumps and shorter steep pitches to keep the average rider challenged. Faster riders can do this trail in 20-25 minutes, well less experienced riders would take 35-45 minutes. Please note that this is intended to be a climbing trail only.
Head around the pond towards bear DH, stay left so that you start riding backwards on lower Jolly Rancher. You'll see a trail sign and the trail starts on your left. The trail is quite wide and easy to spot.
