Mostly doubletrack with some singletrack down the back side, this trail starts out mellow but quickly turns steep after the 4-way with Doe Run. The climb is loose, rocky and steep, with some techy rock sections to overcome. This provides a challenge to even a seasoned rider. At the top there is a bit of flat (at the first trail to the right you can kind of get an overlook view), but don't take the false rights, and follow the trail back down left to Valle Chaparel to meet up with Doe Run. This descent is also pretty steep and does have some minor technicality to it, so be careful and have fun!
*Note: Canyon Top is an unofficial name, and I have since moved out of the state, so anyone who rides Gutierrez regularly should definitely update/edit this trail if they have any info/trail reroutes. Thanks!*
