Bench cut tractor road that is steepish but can be pedaled at first. Later it gets steeper and is hike-a-bike for all but the most dedicated of riders.
And finally it turns into a single track hiking bench cut trail, which is fairly exposed (don't fall), this section is hike-a-bike mandatory.
The views over Lake Geneva amazing. And the views from the top are also amazing.
Starts at the Col De Jaman. Head north past the farmers house and up the tractor path. If you find yourself at a cabin near some trees with a BBQ grill out front (Cabane Jaman)... you are one road too low... jump the fence & push up to the next fence.
After leaving the field you will head onto a benched tractor road, with cliffs on the riders right & steep exposed drop on riders left. The way is clear from this point forward. You will pass a hut and cross a wooden bridge and eventually the trail will turn into singletrack bench cut... you will be hike-a-biking at this point.
The traverse is steep and exposed, choose your footing carefully, as a slip & fall will see you tumbling for 500+ meters in spots.
There is one fork in the trail after it turns to single track, go right.
These are hiking trails, give way to hikers & say hi. Close all electric fences behind you.
