CBT Mainline Details
2014 saw over 7900 riders on the CBT Mainline. Connecting the town of Golden with the Moonraker trails, it's one of the most ridden trails in Golden. With a minimal grade this trail climbs as well as it descends.
The trail map on this site is somewhat misleading as the trail continues to the Tallis FSR utilizing an old skid road (named Alpine Meadows and shows up as a green trail). In the fall of 2013 and in 2014, sections of the skid road were replaced with singletrack.
Trailhead is located at the Mainline trailhead, west of the bridge over the Columbia River at the junction of the Golf Course Drive and the KHMR road. An alternate trailhead is located at Cedar Lake Rec Site 2 km up the Tallis FSR. Both trailheads have vault toilets, map kiosks and donation boxes.
