This a is a green cross-country trail with a few small blue points. The route indicated on the map is only a suggestion. The trail can be ridden any number of ways. Ride it a few times and you will get it figured out. A few laps on this trail is an excellent way to get some non-pavement exercise if you don't want to drive all the way out to Bragg Creek. On the weekends and after working hours this trail can get a lot of foot traffic on it. In Cochrane pedestrian traffic gets the right of way so keep that in mind or you may get some dirty looks.
Park at the Ranch park right off of Hwy 1A. You can either start at the top of the hill by the cowboy statue and follow the ridge or go up to the river and head right to reach a trail head.
