Coldwater Spring Details
A smooth shaded climb that spits you out into a field of sage bushes. At the top when head left towards Cottonwood Canyon the trail will skirt the wilderness boundary. The upper portion of the descent is loose, dry, rocky, fast and exposed. Once you head left back down into the trees you'll find rich dirt and some steep/rocky pitches with no way around (not for beginners). In the trees you'll also find a large amount of tree-fall that will force you off the bike. However the trail is still a fun little alternate to reach Blind Hollow's true DH start at Hansen Pond.
