Though a good portion of this trail is an intermediate-level ride, there are enough challenging features that deem "Fire Sale" as "Very Difficult": Several areas contain cliff-like exposure, steep descents, technical climbs, and rewarding views. The trail is mostly clay, some sand, and lots of baby's heads (do not ride during or immediately following any rain). Also, there isn't any shade: Be prepared with water and sun-block.

Another great trail in the McCoy Flats arsenal. This trail has some quick, tricky climbs and fast descents. There is semi-arch that can be ridden over, but it will require you to ride with about 20 feet of exposure on your right-hand side (use the bail-out trail if you doubt your abilities). In many spots, the trail has a lot of round rocks and baby's heads. Great views at the summit.
