Very rough, steep, and fun descent from East West fire trail down to Mountain River. The track takes you down through a river bed for a fair distance with plenty of baby head rocks to keep you on your toes. Lots of slippery log crossings and obstacles with large ruts and very steep sections. Final section of the track is fast and flowy loam, lots of fun!

Walking only track. Don't ride this. You risk collision with or at least upsetting a walker. While not heavily used, it only takes one...

Happy walkers and locals are powerful allies when it comes to getting approval for more MTB and shared use tracks. Upset ones not so much.

Any negative input to land managers (PWS and Wellington Park Management Trust) from walkers jeopardises continuing planning for MTB on this route and other routes proposed in the MTB Masterplan.

Seems like over 95% of riders respect the rules and processes behind managing this place for many kinds of user.

Do it for others. Do it for yourself. Keep your bike off this track.
