This is an excellent trail to shuttle with a friend or turn it into an epic loop. Best risen east to west but certainly doable both ways. There are some trail junctions that could get tricky if you aren't paying attention or don't have a map. a few sections of this trail are too steep/rocky/rooty to ride, however they are short and unmemorable. what you will remember is a long burly climb followed by a fun and dynamic decent. plenty of wildlife on the trail wish we had bearspray. This is a remote and long ride so bring plenty of food and water. this trail is used by horse packers so it is best before early hunting season, but will likely have plenty of blowdown and snow in the spring
