A fun downhill trail, not sure I would list it as double black diamond. I think Vail lists it as a single.
A fun steep fast section at the top, opens into a shitty off camber turn out onto the trail, beware.
Dropping back into the trees you'll have some fun and fast downhill. Lots of roots and small (1-2') drops along the way.
There is a really weird hole in the trail at one point, you can't jump it and it looks like a small drop at first, but it has an uphill landing. It kind of ruins the flow of the trail for that section (*sad trombone*).
The trail weaves around trees then opens into a jump section.
If I remember right, there's a kind of crappy berm, then it drops down into something you're supposed to double to get speed for the first jump. I never was able to clear the double, it's just kind of awkward. If you pedal hard into the next berm you could probably make the first jump (15' or so), but I never did. The lips and landings are perfect and forgiving, so you can throw a pedal in and make the next two jumps (probably around 18-20' each). Suuuuuper nice jumps.
After that the trail is pretty mellow, a few weird turns here and there, but nothing to note.
