Slide Creek (4146) Details
This is a designated non-motorized trail. There are some severely eroded portions on this trail resulting in gullies. It is probably best used for downhill use. This trail provides non-motorized access from Timber Creek to the Timber Creek/Cabin Creek Pass. It goes from Trail 4137 off of road 105 up to the Snowbank/Cabin Creek trails junction. It goes from 7,900 foot elevation up to the 9,300 foot elevation at the pass in 2.42 miles. There has been some old logging along the lower portion of the trail. The rest is singletrack. It is a challenging ride with some possible hike a bike in the more eroded sections.
Access to the lower end is via Road 105 and Trail 4137. Access to the upper end is via the Snowbank Trail 4076 or the Cabin Creek Trail 6127. A four way junction in the pass, although you may have to do a little hunting for the Slide Creek Trail as it is not well marked.
