Turtle Mt Details
The trail begins once you cross into the Loch Alva protected natural area at the bridge on Robin Hood Lake. Characterised by kilometres of loose cobbles, mud holes, and very technical climbing on a well used hiking and ATV trail. The final push to the peak climbs a bare 20% grade granite slab for 100 metres. Very rewarding views at the top and fun to play on the winding trails all over the exposed bedrock at the top.
Fatbike strongly recommended... the loose climbs would be pretty painful on small tires.
