Great local bike shop. Good service, some of the most experienced mechanics on the shore, good product selection. But it really comes down to the great customer service.
Great shop with great brands i really like how they are very fair this Christmas i went looking for a pair of Ryders Banger goggles for my little brother when I called LVB the said they had two so i came to the shop to buy a pair only to find that they didn't have any they offered to give me a pair of Ryders Shores ($15 more than Bangers) for the same price as the bangers.
First went to Lynn valley bikes hunting for a shop that could get me a 2020 xl rocky slayer A30, they were also close so that helped. It wasn't a bike model and size they would have normally carried so they ordered it in for me which they were happy to do for me provided I made a deposit. Once I got the bike they even told me they would do a free tune-up and wheel true after I rode the bike for a week or two, AND they would give me a bit of a discount on anything I I bought in the shop for a while after. I just picked the bike back up from the aforementioned tune-up and to my surprise they even washed it for me which I haven't had another shop do, pretty slick if you ask me. The shop has a decent enough selection of the usual things you would need to get you back on trail and staff are friendly and conversational.
Rick and Ken are bicycle wizards who deserve high praise for their efforts to contribute to the riding community.
Needed a brake job job last summer toot suite which I got while I hung about the shop, about 20 mins to complete.
Fast, good work. My go to shop for now on.

Great work, superlative customer service and always friendly. My go-to spot on the Shore. Rick is someone I have known for decades and his partner Ken is as knowledgeable.
I had been a customer at this shop since they opened and was satisfied with the service until I had a major service done and it went terribly wrong:
I was initially told that the total cost of the service would be under $200 and the bike would be ready the next day. However, it ended up taking over 3 weeks due to the required parts not arriving from the supplier. Furthermore, when disassembling the bike one of the parts had seized and they destroyed it in order to remove it without first consulting with me and charged me extra to perform this task. I also had to pay for the replacement part. So in the end I ended up paying over $300 for the service and they took no responsibility for their actions and the only "explanation" I got was that it was the supplier's fault and that my bike was old.
That being said, if you take your bike to this shop, make sure that Rick is the only one that works on your bike. He's honest and knows what he's doing.

LVB is the best shop on the shore. Great products, great service, knowledgeable staff and a friendly atmosphere make it the best.
Always available to help with little mechanical issues and things, and super friendly staff. Best shop on the shore
