Urban Mountain Bike Race 2024
Race Details:

Welcome to the 2024 Urban Mountain Bike Race You heard the buzz last year when we brought this race back after a long hiatus for our 20th Anniversary. Now its year 21 and its your chance to return for the fun or make it your inaugural jump into urban mountain bike racing. What you’re in for? A fun course with obstacles, wooden banked turns, jumps, and racing through the shop and courtyards. Music, fun, friends, and racing all make for a great day to kick off the spring time change.

The race will consist of timed heats, with winners determined by number of laps completed. Top 3 move on to the finals. The number of heats will be contingent on the number of racers registered for that category. Didn't make the top 3 in your first heat? No need to be distraught; there will be a Last Chance to Qualify heat where the top 3 in that heat move on to the finals.

There's a category for every rider skillset: Pro Class, Sport Class, Recreational Class, and two kids' categories. For the adult categories there are gender specific races. Kids will be all together, but with prizes awarded by gender.

Stay tuned for the prizes and more to come on the swag for registering. It for sure includes an event tee, koozie and a good time to be had by all.

Be sure to avoid day of registration fee increases and register before the deadline of 3/8/24 at 5pm. Day of registration will be available until 1pm day of race.

Races will begin at 2pm with the kids' categories. Adult categories are estimated to begin at 2:30pm. Heats will be gender specific with the exception of kids. In the event there's not enough registrants for a gender specific heat, the heat will be run with male and female riders together. Advancement to further heats and prizes will still be awarded by gender in the event there are not separate gender heats.
