This is what Gene’s students have to say:
“Thanks Coach Gene for your time the last 3 days! Your coaching is spot on! I’m so lucky to have had the chance to spend this time learning from the most passionate mountain biker out there - one who cares about the sport and all the techniques that go into it! Total respect! That’s all I have to say! If anyone is questioning or “thinking” about signing up for his camp- DON’T , just do! Thank you Gene!!!!”
- Gretchen Wavro
You don’t need more nerve or more experience; you need to learn the correct techniques and practice them. Gene wants to teach you the skills to ride at your best!
He sees riders struggling with trail sections they could easily make if they understood and were able to execute the proper techniques.
You Can Learn The Skills And Drills To Master Those Skills By Spending 2 Days In Gene’s Proven And Structured Skills Course.
From World Champions like Ross Schnell and Sue Haywood to passionate riders just looking to ride with more confidence, riders of all levels have invested in Gene's camps since 1999. This will be the best investment you ever make in your riding.
Watch this video to hear what Gene’s students have to say!
About Gene Hamilton: Gene's passion is coaching, and he wants to help you. Before starting BetterRide in 1999 he had ten years of experience coaching snowboarding, giving him over 30 years of coaching experience. Over those thirty years, Gene has mastered his coaching technique by keeping a beginner's mind and constantly improving both his coaching and his curriculum.
He spends his time studying how people learn physical skills, taking coaches courses, and working with the best riders in the world including World Champions Greg Minnaar, Sue Haywood, and Ross Schnell.
His critical eye can quickly spot what you are doing right and wrong and he knows how to get you master the correct techniques.
Gene is a pretty good rider too, he has earned a silver (2002) and two bronze medals (1999, 2006) at the UCI World Masters Championships. In 2019 he became the US National Champion.
