2017 SORBA Huntsville Thursday Time Trial Series #2 event

Welcome everyone to the 2017 SORBA Huntsville Thursday Time Trial Series! That's right, Huntsville's most popular cycling event is back for 2017 and will be bigger and better!! This year the event will run from June 1 through July 27 with an off week July 6th. Again the format will be 4 courses, repeated twice, with the better of your two times going towards the overall.
You must be a SORBA Huntsville member to participate, and you get 8 weeks of friendly competition and post-ride socials with food and beverages provided by our amazing sponsors!
Please bring your registration fee and proof of membership when you pick up your bib number.

Now for the exciting new features for 2017!!!

Expanded age groups:
Looking over the numbers from last year, we made the decision to go to 5 year increment age groups
Ladies, we will divide up your age group if we meet the minimun of 10 riders per age group. Same goes for the men, if you don't fill the 10 rider minimum we will combine age groups.
Age groups will be finalized after the second round, SO REGISTER EARLY!!!! Even if you don't participate in the first round, sign up NOW.

New vendor midway:
New this year, we will stage from the Bikers Parking Lot each week. One side of the Lot will be closed to allow our sponsors to set up shop and host the post race festivites. All sponsors will be present every week in the midway! It will be THE place to hang out after your ride.

New courses:
Well, some new courses. RMAD will be added in round two and six! We will leave from the Bikers Parking Lot and all ride down to the start as a group. Elites will start from OAK PARK!!! Regular categories will start on the RMAD trail side of Bankhead Parkway across from the Land Trust parking lot.
