Cannonball MTB Festival event

The Thredbo Cannonball MTB Festival 2017 celebrates 5 years as Australia’s biggest gravity inspired MTB festival, and once again will set the standard with an array of unrivaled events and nonstop entertainment. Cannonball will again see amateurs; rising stars and the world’s best descend on Thredbo for 5 days of gravity fueled action and the chance to take home their share of a whopping $70k in cash and prizes, making it the biggest prize purse ever seen at an Australian gravity inspired event.

Five mega events will attract different level of riders from not only the nation but from around the world, so don’t be surprised if you see your favourite pro rider in the lift line. The line-up of show stopping events includes the RockShox Pump Track Challenge on Thredbo’s Village Green, the SRAM Whip Wars Big Air held on a purpose built kicker, the Maxxis All Mountain Assault, the leg burning Canyon Flow Motion Cup and the rough wearelusty Australian Open Downhill
