Gran Fonduro
Race Details:

Gran Fonduro is a new event for gravel or adventure riders, touring the epic backcountry of the Tweed Valley. It’s a big day of fun riding with timed stages on forest roads, natural trails and paths, all connected by quiet, scenic Borders back roads. The timed stages have ups, downs, and everything else in-between, and we guarantee it will take you to places you have never been before.

It’s perfect for CX or gravel bikes, but XC mountain bikes will be good too.

The event is a friendly but adventurous ‘voyage of discovery’ with fun, self-reliance, endurance and adventure as the key themes.

There are two distances – approx. 60km or the full route at around 100km, with several timed stages and overall time contributing to the results board. The event HQ is at the historic Traquair House, just outside Innerleithen – it’s Scotland’s oldest continuously inhabited house with its own grounds, a maze and a brewery.
