Crooked Creek Trail Build Weekend
Trail Day Details:

Come Join HMBA for a volunteer fueled trail build weekend in Yellowwood State Forest.
We will be working on the Crooked Creek Trail the first Saturday and Sunday of each month. 10-2 October-March; 9-1 April-September.
Meet at the handicap hunters parking lot on Crooked Creek Road, South of State Road 46 and North of Crooked Creek Lake.
Join us for one or both days.

All ages and skill levels are welcome!

What to wear,
Comfortable cloths appropriate for conditions, lots of warm layers if its cold, full finger work gloves and comfortable hiking boots, preferable something that covers your ankles, but not a necessity, a hydration pack or back pack with water and snacks. Extras, sun block,bug spray, etc.

What to bring,
Snacks and water, thermos with hot liquids if its cold

Hand tools including tree pruners, laupers, machetes, folding saws and other applicable tree/ shrub pruning tools.
Hmba will provide Rhino tools for all volunteers.

Please plan on sticking around Saturday after the build for a post build BBQ provided by HMBA! Bring a snack to share. Let us know if you are vegetarian.

Bring your bike for a post build group ride. Lets go test out the trails we just built!!

Camping will be provided Friday and Saturday night of the builds. Locations may vary, see discussion for details.
