An event for hikers and trail runners! Come explore the VeloMSM trails of Lac Sainte Marie on foot. The trail experience is meant to be inclusive and non-competitive. Join a group of fellow trail enthusiasts and choose a pace; cover as much of the outlined trail map as you wish, stopping along the way to enjoy the beautiful vistas. All trails are single track, and well maintained. The trek begins with the lower lying trails around Lac Fournier that are designated green level difficulty and progress to blue and black, ending with a very technical descent off the Vanier side of the mountain. Choose your adventure. The farther you go, the more impressive the views! Log and track your route on Trailforks or Strava so you can participate again in years to come and monitor your progress. Users assume all risk and liability for safety. They are asked to bring sufficient water and food for their journey and to please respect the trail by leaving no litter. Hope to see you there! August 25 2018 at 9am - meet in front of the main chalet at Ski Mont Sainte Marie.
