The single track at Shenandoah River State Park will have you smiling all day long (and night if you do the 12-hour course). Each loop will be approximately 8 miles and will contain a mixture of two-track gravel and single-track trail. The team and soloist completing the most laps in 6 or 12 hours wins. A tie in lap count is determined by the fastest combined lap time including pit stop and transition times. Racers will be able to start a new lap 45 minutes before the race duration cutoff. Teams race in a relay format and pass off to the next teammate in the transition area. There is no limit to how many times a teammate can do a lap before they hand off to another teammate. Team participants can go in any order. We will have plenty of space for you to set up your pit stop area for rest, recovery, and camaraderie.
