12 Hours of Penitence
Race Details:

The 5th Annual 12 Hours of Penitence endurance mountain bike race and will take place Saturday, September 14, 2019, one month earlier than previous years.

The 17-mile course - each lap with a 2,000 feet elevation gain - captures the best sections of single-track trail at Penitente Canyon Recreation Area near Del Norte, Colorado.

This unique high desert canyon race challenges intermediate riders, and advanced riders can push their limits. The race event incorporates on-site camping, entertainment, food/drink, and an ultimate course with the "best mix of trails and best views."

Registration begins June 1st at www.12hoursofpenitence.com. Sign up for solo, duo, three-person or four-person teams. Net proceeds benefit the SLV Rattlers, a local teen NICA mountain bike team.
