Race Details:

Mt. Bachelor is looking forward to our fifth summer of the Gravity Race Series This is an unsanctioned series, so you do not need any special license or membership in order to participate. Simply show up on the evening of the race or pre-register online to participate, competitors will need a valid day/twilight lift ticket or season pass to compete. While it is a race, and inevitably competitive, it’s a pretty laid back event focused mainly on fun and local camaraderie.

In this series, we like to keep things simple with two Men’s divisions, two Women’s divisions, and a Youth division. Everyone will race the same course, the divisions are simply to break up ability levels. If you are an experienced mountain bike and downhill rider then you should compete in the Elite Division. If you are newer to mountain biking or have only rode the bike park a couple times, then you should compete in the Open Division. Prizes will be awarded to the top finisher in each division. Competitors who are 21+ can enjoy a post race beverage complimentary of 10 Barrel Brewing.

Keep in mind, this is a four-part series. Upon completion of the fourth and final Gravity Race this summer, we will crown an overall champion for the fastest combined time in all four races (and offer a special prize). So whether you love Enduro or prefer going full on Downhill, we invite you to join us for our summer of Bike Racing here at the mountain!
