Each year, Palmetto Conservation Foundation hosts The Palmetto Challenge to inspire teams of two, three, or four to hike or bike as many miles as possible between March 6 and April 24 on the state's trails, greenways and sidewalks.
You must register by 5:00 PM on March 2nd to qualify
At the start of each week, the team leader will send in their team’s total mileage for the week, which will be recorded and displayed on the PCF website…allowing teams to keep an eye out for the competition!
At the end of the challenge, all participants are invited to join us for a PCF cookout where we will award prizes to the winning teams in each division!
So, pull out the hiking gear or pump up the bike tires, create a team with a catchy name, and gear up to register for the 2017 Palmetto Challenge!
*Smartphone apps and Fitbits are two methods of tracking the miles. Team registration is free. And yes, a fleet-footed pooch can be half of a team!
