I did the NOCS ride tonight but GPS stopped working and helicoptered me in a straight line and then stopped recording. I'm not able to find the NOCS badge either to earn. Please help, I did the work and don't want to miss out on the draws!!

I just got it.... went back to the virtual toonie event and clicked 'going'. then went to my ride log, and in the small grey print on the right, clicked all of these:
[ recalculate stats & trail identification ]
[ regenerate elevation ]
[ rescan for badges ]
[ resync from strava ]
except not in that order... I did the resync from strava first, then the recalc stats, then rescan for badge.

I have linked my Strava ride for the first NOCS virtual toonie ride to my Trailforks ride log. Do I need to link it to the NOCS event somehow?

Did it! Nice ride but the ole gps on Trailforks crapped out halfway through the ride. Is there a trick? Strava has never had that problem

You can link your trailforks to your strava, so you only have to upload to Strava, then it will get shared to trailforks. there's a tutorial on trailforks to show you how.
