Good news for Snow and Rock fans, we have set a new date.
We’ve made the call to move Snow and Rock to April 2021 so mark 2-5 April 2021 in your calendars and we’ll see you there. With the uncertainty that came with hosting events in 2020 and with the Enduro calendar for the rest of this year already filling up, we’ve decided to give ourselves some more time to put together an Easter Extravaganza the whole family will enjoy.
So save the date, get those bookings in and lets make the 2021 edition of Snow and Rock the best one yet.
In partnership with Wild West, these 2 days of riding will feature lowland and high-altitude routes over remote sections of the Maluti Mountains. Novice to advanced enduro riders are catered for on a selection of self-navigated or guided routes lead by experienced Afriski guides, all of whom have knowledge of the local routes through valleys, rivers and rugged terrain.
THE CHALLENGE
WHO IT’S FOR:
“Snow+Rock Enduro is a perfect getaway to explore the incredible riding terrain and scenery Lesotho has to offer. A great adventure without the competitive pressure of sanctioned races” – Hein Kock
This is an event for the whole family as other adventure activities are also included. Mountain biking, monster rolling, paintball games and guided hikes will be on offer for all members of your family. Hearty meals, hot chocolate or Maluti beers will also be on offer at Africa’s highest restaurant – Sky Restaurant.
The Lowland ride start is situated just over the Calendonspoort border (approximately 350km from Johannesburg). It is possible to leave home and drive directly to the Snow+Rock Enduro start on Friday morning. However, if you’d rather break up the trip, you can stay over in Fouriesberg, Clarens or Afriski on Thursday evening and have a more relaxed start to the day.
