Trail maintenance is a large part of what we do at WRCMBA. Wild Rivers Coast puts hundreds of hours into our trails in both Coos and Curry County. We can’t do it with out our volunteers! We will be hosting Saturday and Sunday TWP’s throughout the spring. WRCMBA Tool Trailer will be on-site to provide hand tools, chainsaws, blowers, mechanized wheelbarrows, and pole saws for our volunteers. (Although you are more than welcome to bring your own favorite tool: flat shovels, hard metal rakes, and chainsaws are the most valuable to our work.) This is a great time to give back to the trails while getting in a little “cross-training.” Bring the family!
Arrive early to check in, get your hard-hat (mandatory for insurance purposes, you may bring your own if you have one), and receive our pre-work party training. Each TWP we will focus on different trails and features.
Due to the COVID-19 Regulations ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST WEAR MASKS while working with our group. If you don’t have a mask, you may not join us, sorry! We may limit volunteers if our group gets too large, please contact info@wrcmba.com if you plan on attending a particular TWP so we know how many volunteers to expect. ALL volunteers WILL maintain at least a 6′ distance from others and we will split the volunteers up to tackle different areas of trail to maintain social distancing protocols. Hand sanitizer will be available. THERE WILL BE NO FOOD OR DRINKS PROVIDED- PLEASE PACK YOUR OWN SNACKS AND DRINKS.
