Great Escape 5K Family / Beginner Mountain Bike Ride
Race Details:

Bring the kiddos Try a mountain bike event for the first time! This low-stakes and super-fun course will allow mountain bikers of all experience levels to enjoy participating in an event. This course uses only green (beginner) trails and has very little elevation gain. Youth as young as 6 years old may enjoy this course, and kids as young as 14 are welcome to race solo. You'll experience the best of lower South Cañon on this beautiful fun. This course leaves from Centennial Park and travels along the Arkansas Riverwalk trail. At the Eagle Wing Trailhead, you'll enter singletrack on Wagon Trail, leading up through the center of the South Cañon trail system toward Ecology Park. Enjoy a winding, juniper-strewn descent on Mutton Bustin' and return to the park for a beginner-friendly 5K race.

This event is a fundraiser for local non-profits and is a 1% for Trails contributor.
