Welcome to the 6th edition of SnowBall's Chance

ANYBODY CAN WIN !!! All Bikes are Welcome!!!! All Walker/Hikers are Welcome!!!!

This is a FUNdraiser event for the WaterShed Trails of Port Jervis, NY is Pedaled/Walked/Hiked/Jogged/Ran as a Poker Ride (5 card stud). There is no need to "race" or be in a hurry. You can Pedal/Walk/Hike/Jog/Run or a combination of those with your friends as a group ride, a personal challenge, a scavenger hunt, time trial, or  however you want. This is all about The Experience!! This year we have a City hand and a WaterShed trails hand. You are welcome to play both hands if you wish. You just have to finish and make sure your hand(s) are turned in by 3:00pm at the Up Front Gallery.

THE WATERSHED TRAILS HAND:

There will be 5 checkpoints , 4 of which will be within the WaterShed Trail System. You will be allowed to get to these checkpoints by any route you want (human powered). The WaterShed Trail System is marked amazingly well and there will be maps available. The shortest total mileage to get to all 5 checkpoints will be about 10 miles, but again you can take the long/more fun way if you want.

THE CITY HAND:

There will be 5 checkpoints within city limits. You are allowed to take any route to get to these locations. You must only use human power to get to these spots!! Shortest mileage to get to these spots will be about 3 miles. But again you are free to take the "FUN" route of your choice.

At each checkpoint you will be allowed to draw one card per hand. You are allowed to play both hands for the two seperate BIG POTs. POTs will include Cash and Prizes to be played for.

The hands will be broken down into the top five hands. Total buy in will determine the cash payout (50/50) per hand.  In the event of a draw, those players will cut for High Card to decide.

There will also be WILD CARDS in every deck. These cards will be worth prizes and possible cash as well. If you draw a WILD CARD for your hand, you keep that wildcard (turn it in at Up Front Gallery) and then draw another card for your hand at each checkpoint, until you get a non-wild card. So basically you get mulipule chances to win!!

The Ride will go on, Rain, Snow, or sun with 100% chance of FUN!

Registration and Awards will be at Up Front Gallery (31 Jersey ave. Port Jervis, NY)

Race, Ride, Experience SnowBall's Chance!  This is a benefit for the WaterShed Trails of Port Jervis and the Outdoor Club of Port Jervis.
