FORT CUSTER STAMPEDE - POSTPONED to MAY 2022 event

Fort Custer Stampede

We hope everyone is staying safe and sane in this crazy time.  We are looking at trying to move the Stampede race, please stay tuned.  An awesome Southwest Michigan Mountain Bike Association (SWMMBA) event and part of 2020 MMBA Championship Points Series  Your entry fees assist SWMMBA in building and maintaining our amazing trails in southwest Michigan, including Maple Hill, Fort Custer Recreation Area and the new Warnaar Trail in Three Rivers.

Racecourse this year will be counter clock-wise incorporating almost all of Fort Custer's amazing trails with a Start/Finish at Eagle Lake! The course will be challenging and fun for all racers.  Come join the fun!  We’ll also have a kid’s race and swag to give away. 

The Expert and Elite course will include the Amusement Park and Crazy Beaver. This course is about 13.5 miles per lap for Expert and Elite. Experts will ride 2 laps, Elite will ride 3 laps. Beginners and Sport will skip the Amusement Park and Crazy Beaver and the course is approximately 10 miles in length. Beginners will ride 1 lap, Sport will ride 2 laps.

All riders will skip the planked section of the Gullies on the Green Loop. Granny's may also be modified/not included. The course will not be marked until Saturday afternoon.

The Fort Custer Stampede is Race #2 of the 2020 MMBA CPS season.

The Course

Packet Pick-up
Saturday, TBD from 4 - 6 pm at Eagle Lake Pavilion
Sunday, TBD registration starts at 8:30 am and will continue until 15 minutes before each race.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
There will be 1 FREE beer compliments of Territorial Brewing for each racer, please have your ID & make sure you get your wrist band. Wrist band must be worn when you pickup or register for the event. Wrist bands WILL NOT be issues after your race.
