Camping at the Forest Service Reuter Campground is 1st come 1st serve. We as the race volunteers secure two spots for the race start and finish. Water may or may not be available BYOB..

Epic Challenge Course B
This is ~ 22+ mile test for the men and women of your skills, and also of your metal… With the beginner course thrown in with additional technical singletrack in South Fork, with a lot of climbing; this is a classic course. 4000 Elevation gain
14 and under must pay to ride this course --Placing 1-3 place all riders.

 As listed in the map and general description a lot of climbing and a lot of descending. This is the endurance race you look forward to.

Epic Challenge course rules: There will be 5 hr time limit for the Epic Course to aid station 2, There is a lot of climbing but time can be made on the descents. Race Marshals will have the only and final say DNF, DQ, or MF (Mechanical Failure)… Catch a ride come for food and support your riding buddies because they will need all your assistance……

We also want everyone to enjoy the food and prizes at a reasonable time, including the volunteers because they will be the last ones down …At least you won’t have to walk far in this epic if you do break down.

This is the best course in the Black Hills and Wyoming.


Challenge course, is an approximately 14-mile course, it has a lot to offer any rider. It has plenty of singletrack, rock gardens, and tons of great views, some people ride the course just for the sheer fun, of going up getting refreshments and heading back down. It is a fun ride and will let you know where you sit in any shape or form. It will help you become a better rider.  Not so much an endurance test but a good ride… . 14 and under must pay to ride this course. Placing 1-3 place all riders.

Cubs Challenge Course is an 8.9-mile ride, up to the Sandpit rd, and down the Edge to the turnaround and then back up Sandpit to Reuter to the finish. Cubs riders will leave 10-12 minutes after main fields start.. 14 and under ride free- No shirt for kids unless purchasing separately-on registration page (10 bucks)  but eligible for age group prizes and raffle. Placing 1-3 place in Cubs 14 under -category only.
