The 2022 Winona Forest Tourathon promises to once again delight nordic skiers from across the USA and beyond. This is the 42th Anniversary of this event Our lake effect snow machine, and professional grooming equipment will provide race participants with unrivaled nordic conditions. 

Please become a member of our club. This keeps the tourathon alive and well, and allows our volunteers to keep the trails in great condition all winter long. To become a member, please visit Winona Membership. We will also have membership forms available at the race.


Bib pick-up and sign-in under the tent begins at 7:30 AM.
Cost: 12.5 KM - $35., 25KM - $40., 50KM - $55. Student category is $25 - 30. Discounted family registration is available.

Race Start Time:          8:30 AM for the 50 km distance.

                                  9:00 AM for 12.5km and 25 km distances.
                                                      

The ski trails are maintained and groomed regularly throughout the season.

The 50KM Segment is dedicated in honor of Walter Chapman.  The oldest finisher of the 50KM segment will receive the Walter Chapman Award.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  For those skiing the 4 loop (50 km) distance, due to the safety concerns a CUT-OFF time is being imposed.  If you do not start your final loop of the event by 2:00 you will be asked to finish down the finishing lane upon arrival at the junction.  If you wish to proceed beyond and continue against the Race Officials warnings -your race bib will be removed and you will be disqualified from the race.

Registrations are non-refundable under all circumstances. In the case that we have to cancel this event, we will consider all registrations as a donation to our club. In turn we will return our appreciation in the form of fabulous well-groomed trails for you to enjoy throughout the winter.
