Race Details:

MTBNZ and our host clubs are pleased to announce the 2022 MTBNZ National Event Series. Building on the past four years of events, 2022 sees the MTBNZ National Downhill Series grow to five rounds whilst Cross Country (XCO) moves to a single event, all leading into the National Championships.

The series opens in Rotorua, with Descend/Rotorua MTB Club hosting on the rider favourite Taniwha in the Whakarewarewa Forest. Round two heads north of Auckland to Dome Valley with another long time series host, AKDH. The Southern rounds kick off at Coronet Peak, before heading to Dunedin for a double discipline weekend on Signal hill, finishing off in Nelson on Kaka.
