Race Details:

Join us on a journey through the Kangaroo Valley, one of the only seven closed valleys in the world You’re in for an awesome back-road adventure in lush rolling farmland, exploring the beautiful Upper Shoalhaven Riverland and then return back to Kangaroo Valley.

The Summit Shoalhaven is the first cooperation between Rocky Trail Entertainment and Elite Energy Events, who are re-launching one of Australia’s most iconic off-road trail events, the Shoalhaven King of the Mountain to the Summit of Mt Scanzi in the pretty Kangaroo Valley. The event is held on a Sunday and will feature a Trail Run by Elite Energy with 4 distances and Rocky Trail is organising a 51km Gravel Ride with event souvenir and finisher medals!

**About the ride:**
The 51km Gravel Ride takes you on a scenic route through the magnificent Kangaroo Valley and the Upper Shoalhaven Riverlands. After a neutral section, you will be unleashed minutes before the first wave of runners and you will be sharing portions of the fire roads. Encourage each other! This is not a race, but you will get a KOM / QOM finisher time on top of Mt Scanzi when you cross it for the second time that day. This event is a first cooperation between Elite Energy and Rocky Trail Entertainment – be a part of when something new started!

**Important:**
The ride is ideal for Gravel Bikes and also suitable for mountain bikes of course! The Summit Shoalhaven Gravel Ride (and Trail Run) take place on the Sunday, 24 July after our cross-country 4-hour MTB Grand Prix race at Coonoo State Forest in Nowra on Saturday, 23 July.
