This week we will be doing maintenance to the Red Alder trail. Brushing, clearing drains and fixing drainage issues.
Meet at the NE 105th entrance on the North side of the park (NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE MAIN PARKING LOT). Put 10508 231st Place SE, Woodinville 98077 into your favorite mapping application and you'll get to the meeting spot. Look for my Red Ford F250 which will not be parked on the road, but rather at the trailhead which is tucked between a couple of houses.
No prior trail experience needed
What to bring:
1. Spade Shovel
2. McLeod (if you have one, we have a couple extra)
3. Handsaw if you have one
4. Wheelbarrow if you have one (we will haul some gravel in)
5. Wear long pants and sturdy shoes
6. Dress in layers, make sure you have rain gear
7. Food and water
If you don't have any tools just show up and we will work something out.
We try to leave right at 9, so get there a few minutes early to sign-in.
Weather and Cancellation:
If it's raining lightly we usually work. Really heavy rains or wind we typically cancel. Cancellations will be posted here and emailed to everyone who signs up by 8:00am the day of the work party.
