Category Consolidation: Race director may combine race categories if there are not enough registrations to support each category.  We do not combine Male / Female categories.

Parking: Parking is limited at the venue and will be first come first serve.  Parking will be charged $5 at the gate (donation to local organization), once full you will need to park near the Lost Cow Trailhead and ride the 1 mile to the venue.  Carpooling is great for the environment and also a great way to get into the venue, show up with 3 registered racers (15, 35 or 50 miles) in the same vehicle and we will waive the $5 parking fee.  We are also working on a shuttle option (more to come).

Camping: Camping is available at the venue for $10 per night (payable in cash when you arrive), gates open Friday the 13th at noon and are locked on Monday the 17th at 10am.  No water, no electric, just a lot of fun.  NO CAMPFIRES in camp sites, please use the common fire pit near the big tent.  Camping is first come first serve, we have limited spots, but have no sold out in the past.

Covid 19: BMBA will be committed to do everything we can to stop the spread, through additional handwash stations, anti-bacterial gel, etc.  If for any reason the city or state leaders place unplanned restrictions on our event and we have to cancel, this will be out of our control.  We will offer either a virtual race, move the registration to 2024, or refund minus online registration fees.

E-Bikes: Although e-bikes can be fun for some, they are not meant for our race.  This race is about endurance and EPIC riding abilities, so for now, there are no e-bikes allowed to register.

Weather: The weather in El Paso is usually amazing in January, but there is always the chance of race delays or cancellations due to weather.  We will do our best to move the race from Saturday / Sunday to Sunday / Monday if needed.  If the race has to be cancelled completely due to weather events that makes it impossible to move the race by a day, we will reschedule within 30 days.  There will be no refunds, but race credits for 2024 are possible if weather cancellation.

No refunds for individual cancellations
