2023 RVA Underground MTB Race Series
April - May, 2023

Get ready to rumble because the Underground Race Series is coming back in 2023 with a vengeance This will be a combined XC and XCO 5-race spring series where your best 4 races count towards championship status. For the final race, we are bringing back the full-pull XC race at Leakes Mill.

DATES, LOCATION, & FORMATS:

XC Format Races: Cross Country (XC) format races are held on a 6-9 mile course. Racers in each category will do a set number of laps. Racers will start in waves by category. Fastest time to complete designated laps wins.

XCO Format Races: Cross Country Olympic (XCO) format races are a hybrid of XC and Short Track. The XCO race is a set number of laps, like XC, but on a slightly longer course that Short Track (2.5-4.0 miles). This is very spectator friendly course. Racers will go off by category in mass start or waves depending on field size, with one category on the field at a time. Fastest time to complete designated laps wins.
