Jersey's own epic gravel grinders return

Routes feature a perfectly mixed all surface ride including plenty of dirt, gravel and paved roads plus optional singletrack in Mega route. 50% to 75% unpaved. We'll have plenty of Arrow Signs marking the routes as well as free use of our RideWithGPS event account, so you can follow the route with visual and audio cues while riding. You can easily download FIT or GPX files to upload to your bike computer of choice.

In an Enduro/Grand Fondo style, you'll be competing for the fastest combined time for specific timed segments, rather than complete ride time. There will be signange to let you know when to start going full out and for when you've completed each segment. You can choose to either ride the whole route all out or chill out and enjoy the scenary and just hammer the competitve timed segments. Mega has 6, Adventure 4 & Soul 2 segments.

Packet pickup will open 6:45 AM and Rolling Start with MEGA 8:00 AM, ADVENTURE 8:30 AM and SOUL 9:00 AM. 

Aid Stations

Every 20-25 miles, and will be well stocked with GU Gels, Stroopwaffles, GU or Skratch Energy Drink, Water,  Granola Bars, Swedish Fish, Coke, Pickle Juice and more. Aid Station 1 will feature our famous Pancake & Maple Syrup stop.

Portable Toilets & Hand Sanitizer at every Aid Station.

Timing

To automate the timing process and do live podiums we are providing compact GPS Trackers to every rider to capture segement results and create leaderboards. This should be put in one of your bike jersey pockets so that there will be a clear signal. Please make sure to return the tracker at the finish area or you will be charged a $150 replacement fee.

Pricing

Special early regsitration pricing for the first 150 racers combined from all route categories.

Price increases after the first 150 racers and then on April 1 and May 1.

Category Changes, Transfers and Deferrals

Deferral credit requests must be received up to 14 days prior to event, and will be net of a $15 processing fee.

Transfer of registration value up to 10 days prior to event for a nominal processing fee of $15. 

Race category can also be changed up to 7 days prior to event, providing there is availability, for nominal $10 processing fee.

There will not be deferrals or transfers after these cut offs.

2023 Ready Set GRAVEL Adventures Series Champion

Racers will earn points at all of our Gravel Grinders and series champion crowned based on highest total in each age group. 

Race Series will include May 21 Jersey Gravel Grinder, June 25 NY Gravel Grinder (permits pending), July 30 Macedonia Gravel Grinder and September 24 Jersey Gravel Grinder Deux.

Point totals will be based on your top 3 results. (ie. you can drop one result when you race all four)

Each year we tweak the routes to keep things interesting.

Routes have not been finalized, but will be provided prior to the event.

Target Mileage and Elevation for 2023 Jersey Gravel Grinder:

MEGA 85 Miles & 6,000 Feet

ADVENTURE 55 Miles & 4,500 Feet

SOUl 28 Miles & 1600 Feet

MEGA route plan includes an optional 1 Mile of Singletrack in Nassau Trails that Adventurous riders will enter by Aid Station.
