Trail Flow (Ridden Direction)
Trailforks scans users ridelogs to determine the most popular direction each trail is ridden. A good flowing trail network will have most trails flowing in a single direction according to their intension.
The colour categories are based on what percentage of riders are riding a trail in its intended direction.

SaveThe area is an active radiata pine plantation, so there are endless headlands to ride, forming some enjoyable and long loops. There is some active single track development on-going, but no local group has come forward on Trailforks to claim this work.
There are four Routes marked with Red, Pink, Yellow and Blue triangles on indicator posts, which were installed by forestry some time ago. These four routes share many trails so they are not specifically recorded. the further you get from the campground, the more infrequent and confusing the trail markers become. Most of the yellow and red markers are missing or have been hit by the slasher, making navigation difficult.
On weekends, expect to share the area with dirt-bikers. A good time to stick to the single track and avoid the wider trails. The area is nominally managed by the Department of Environment and Science (State Forests) but trail management and development is all being undertaken by local volunteers.
