Eastern side of Armidale State Forest has numerous custom built mountain bike trails built and maintained by the New England Mountain Bikers (NEMTB). Within the piney there are are many different trails catering for all riders from beginner to advanced. Every year there are many events held in the piney.

Main trailhead is on the Rockvale Road. After you cross the bridge over Tilbuster Ponds, the gate and trailhead is on the right-hand side. Limited parking is located in front of the gate with more located on oppisite side of the road. During major events check the event details for the designated marshalling areas and associated parking options.
