SaveBetasso is a popular trail system close to town. It gets a lot of traffic from both hikers and mountain bikers alike. The trails are directional for bikes, but that direction changes approximately every 2 weeks and is provided on signs.
Expect flowing single track that is mostly pretty easy, with some small embedded rocks and rooty areas, and few stiff pitches. Some trails are fairly narrow with exposure and may not be suitable for beginners.
