Forrester Park tracks provides a beginner grade circuit for all skill bases. Spooky Forest has some steeply cornered berms that need practice. There are some small jumps and drops, all of which you can roll over or avoid. Those whom want to can have a play on the BMX course as well.

Bethunes Gully tracks are designed as a Nationals Expert grade XC course and are not considered beginner tracks. They are technical, steep and have some tricky obstacles. When ridden at race pace they are very challenging. When riding up Mt. Cargill Walking Track, don't climb up any further than the skid track, from here is strictly a walking track.

There are two main track sections in Bethune’s Gully – an older track (the Haggis Hunter) on the true right hand side of Lindsay Creek. And a newer set of tracks (Nationals XC, In and Out and GLC) on the true left hand side. These refer to the tracks in relation to where they are as you face downstream, looking back at the car park at Bethune’s Gully picnic area.
      Primary Trail Type: Cross-Country
      Land Status: City Managed

      Access Info:
From the OCTAGON (6km, 10min). Head north along George St all the way to the Gardens Shopping Area. Drive down North Rd to just before the Normandy Tavern (where the road starts climbing) then veer left onto Norwood St. Carry on up this narrow road until you get to Bethunes/Gully Forrester Park (BMX Track). If you turn left, this leads you to Bethunes Gully on Cluny Rd. If you follow the road right (past the BMX track), you get to Forrester Park.
