Black Hill being only minutes from the centre of Ballarat, is the spot for downhill in town. The tracks vary in level, and with so many sections, you can put together your own run to suit your abilitiesThere are current plans in place to build a new track, from the Black Hill lookout to the current finish line, but more news will be available very soon on this, and when build days will be coming up. Black Hill also hosts the annual King of Ballarat down hill series, that has grown from strength to strength in recent years. 2009 saw on average 100 riders attend each race, which was a great result for mountain biking in Ballarat.
