SaveThe Black Mountain Trail Network, sponsored by West Fraser, is comprised of purpose-built mountain bike trails for all rider abilities. The network is still under construction but will be built out to include 50 km of trail. The trails will be opened on a trail-by-trail basis as they are completed, starting June 30th 2024. You will find all styles of bike trails, including machine-groomed flow, adaptive spec, tech, x-country, tech-flow, and DH. The mountain is accessed through a network-long climbing trail and, opening soon, a shuttle road that connects to the summit.

Take the David Thompson Highway (Hwy 11) about 15 minutes West of Nordegg, then head North on Twp Rd 40-1, sign for Snow Creek Group Use Camping. Travel along the road for about 2km to the Black Mountain Trail Network Parking Lot.
About halfway down the road to the parking lot, you'll pass the Black Mountain Shuttle Road on your right. When open you can use this road to shuttle to the top of Black Mountain.
