Blue Knob All Seasons Resort has mountain biking opportunities for all levels from novice to expert. There are approximately 4-5 miles of novice to intermediate double track and dirt roads, and approximately 10-12 miles of advanced to expert single track. Marking and mapping of the trails is in progress. Preliminary trail maps can be viewed on the attachment below. The maps are not great, but they will help you navigate. If you can, hook up with a local and have them show you the best trails. The best place to park for accessing the Resort trails is at the Clubhouse Bar & Grill in the Alpine Village. The Clubhouse is also a great place to have a cold beverage and a bite to eat after ride.

Adjacent to Blue Knob Resort is Blue Knob State Park where you'll find an additional 20+ miles of advanced to expert mountain biking and hiking trails. Trail maps of the state park are available a the Park Office. The Resort trails and the State Park trails connect at the summit.

The Blue Knob area has some of the best and most challenging cross country mountain biking in the region. Make sure your legs and lungs are in good shape if you decide to make the climb to the top of the second highest peak in PA. The panoramic views from the top are well worth the effort. If you're not in peak climbing shape yet, you can still drive to the top. It is recommended that you have some level of off-road bicycling experience before venturing out on any of these trails. Many of the trails will challenge even the most skilled mountain bikers.

For winter activities, Blue Knob Resort also offers some of the best and most challenging downhill skiing in PA as well as snow tubing and several miles of groomed cross country ski trails. Visit for more information.
