Located 7 km from the Eastern Free State hot spot of Clarens and nestled in the rolling hills of the Maluti Mountains, Bokpoort offers mountain biking, hiking and horse riding as well as a variety of accommodations ranging from the luxurious Bokpoort Mountain Lodge to rustic mountain cabins and camping.

Bokpoort Mountain Lodge retains all of its history, charm and character.
The guest area features an inviting fireside boma and reservoir pool deck offering big mountain views. A warm and charming bar offers a fine selection of wines and an open fireplace while comfortable seating invites intimate conversation.
A large verandah provides you somewhere to relax while taking in the mountain air as you sit beside a roaring fire. Our farmhouse kitchen serves up mouth-watering breakfasts in a cozy dining room.
There is plenty to get the adrenalin going if you are wanting something more active; from walking our nature trails or trout fishing to horse-riding and mountain biking. We have plenty for the adventurous at heart.
Additional signature features include a one-of-a-kind obstacle course, archery and clay pigeon shooting ideally positioned to catch the mountain sunset. Enjoy sundowners as you watch the fiery orb set over distant mountains, as wide African skies open to reveal a world of constellations.
