Guide for out of towners to ride this: it is intended as a downhill course. Park in the pullout that has room for 6-8 cars on the left before the nursery. There is a news board there. The nursery is near the southern end of “the way out”.

This is a downhill course. To get to the top: ride up the road past the nursery, pass the end of “the way out” on the left. It is marked by some yellow posts. After a few hundred yards the entrance to “Cadys Falls Entrance” is on the right. Take that until it dumps you out on a road. Take the road uphill for awhile and look for the entrance to the trails.

The trails are supposed to end by linking up with “The Way Out.”

I tried to ride this as an all mountain trail and ended up riding it backwards since I only had the trail diagram to go by and didn’t realize this was designed as a downhill course. On my way out, I ran into someone who said that he helped build the trails. He gave me the description for how to get to the top. He also said that he didn’t recognize the trail on the left that goes far south. He stated that all trails should end at “the way out”.

Overall observations: I found the trails to be poorly marked and often crisscrossing which makes for some confusion. The trails were used enough to be clear paths. I found no man made features except a few kickers on “the way out” trail. I also found the trail difficulty ratings to be accurate although I would rate them a bit on the easy side compared with what one would find at a ski resort.
